The Poznań Philharmonic (Wielkopolska Region, Poland) is looking for partners for a project under the Creative Europe programme (action: Culture).
The project will have an interdisciplinary scope and will be based on two pillars:
- The work and life of Fryderyk Chopin.
- Unusual concerts venues, unusual scenery of concerts (“from underground into the sky”).
The project aims at:
- promoting the music of the composer;
- musical education;
- bringing together enthusiasts of Chopin in Europe;
- proving that classical music is not boring.
In the project there are already involved partners from Italy (Milan), Czech Republic (Prague) and Poland.
The consortium is particularly searching for partners:
- from countries or places where Chopin played or those with unusual concerts venues,
- from Spain (Majorca), Italy, France (Paris) and Denmark, Finland, Germany, Czech Republic.
The Poznań Philharmonic is also interested in cooperating with an entity (for example university) which would support the technical side of the project (website, phone application).
Project time frame: 2018-2020.
Deadline for expression of interest: 21 July.
