Discover Wielkopolska at the Polish Day!

We cordially invite you to visit the Wielkopolska stand during the Polish Day in Brussels! This is a unique opportunity to discover the cultural richness and traditions of one of Poland's largest regions.

At our stand, you will have the chance to taste local specialities prepared by the Hyćka Restaurant from Poznań - potatoes with cottage cheese, the famous St. Martin's croissants, refreshing elderberry juice and other regional specialities.

The atmosphere will be enriched by the sounds of hits of Polish and European pop music performed by the First Poznań Non-Symphonic Ukulele Orchestra. The band is composed of true enthusiasts who have been seduced by the distinctive sound and dainty size of the Hawaiian guitar, commonly known as the ukulele.

The Wielkopolska Tourist Organisation will present the tourist and economic potential of our region. You will be able to explore the Wielkopolska region's rich tourist offer and admire regional handicrafts.

There will also be presentations of innovative projects by the Poznań University of Technology in the fields of robotics, aeronautics and space technology. Bulk of these developments, including rocket tests, is being undertaken at the modern University Campus in Kąkolewo where infrastructure for space monitoring is located.

Representatives of the student research club PUT Rocketlab specialising in supersonic sounding rockets will also present its rocket at the Wielkopolska stand. It is the first student organisation in the world to design, build, and test a turbopump for a rocket engine.

We cordially invite you to participate and discover what makes Wielkopolska such a unique place on the map of Poland!
