HOW LOCAL AND REGIONAL AUTHORITIES ARE DRIVING BEHAVIORAL CHANGE FOR ENERGY TRANSITION
which will be held on October 12 at 11:30 a.m.
at the premises of the Northern Ireland Region
180 Chaussée d'Etterbeek in Brussels.
The panel includes regional policymakers, academics and political and business representatives, who will exchange about top strategies for surmounting decarbonization challenges in the energy sector.
Participants will present their region's tailored solutions to encourage stakeholder behavioural change and propel the energy transition. Discussions will encompass tactics for private-local partnerships, communication strategies on innovation & H2 valleys, cross-border collaboration and fostering energy communities.
The workshop will be organised by representatives of European regions: Wielkopolska (Poland), Umbria (Italy), Kosice (Slovakia), Northern Ireland and North Eastern Romania.
The representative of Wielkopolska will be Maciej Sytek, President of the Regional Development Agency in Konin and Plenipotentiary of the Management Board of the Wielkopolska Region for Restructuring of Eastern Wielkopolska.
The workshop will wrap up with a dynamic networking session, a great chance to connect with others, dive into further discussions.
